Rihanna & Chris Brown Are Back Together
Rihanna and Chris Brown are back together, PEOPLE has learned exclusively.

The pair have reunited almost three weeks after Brown, 19, allegedly battered the "Umbrella" singer on Feb. 8, a source tells PEOPLE.

"They're together again. They care for each other," says the source. The on-again couple are currently spending time together at one of Sean "Diddy" Combs's homes, on Miami Beach's Star Island.

Adds the source: "While Chris is reflective and saddened about what happened, he is really happy to be with the woman he loves."

In its latest issue, PEOPLE reports that Brown called Rihanna on her 21st birthday one week ago. "He called to wish her happy birthday," a source told the magazine. "They've reached out to each other. It's been mutual."

Brown was booked by LAPD for making criminal threats but the case has not yet been presented to the District Attorney, who will ultimately determine which charges, if any, will be prosecuted.

More Details On Rihanna & Chris Brown Reunion

That's right, folks, Rihanna and Chris Brown are back together. They're currently vacationing together in the Miami home of Sean "Diddy" Combs. Brown's legal and personal problems seem a million miles away as the singer rides around on a jet ski.

Rihanna reportedly arrived four days ago and the couple have been talking since Brown contacted her on her 21st birthday. A source tells Us Weekly, "She's not listening to anyone. And of course Puff got involved in this." How "of course?" Is he a licensed relationship counselor, or what?

Ronald Fenty, Rihanna's father, responded to the news by saying, "I love my daughter with whatever road she takes. I'm behind her win or lose. I will be supportive. If that's the road she wants to choose, I'm behind her."

Good Lord, if attempted murder isn't grounds for breaking up, I'm pretty sure I don't know what is.

First Lady, Michelle Obama Talks Beyoncé

Michelle Obama on Beyonce: "She's So Real"

on Feb. 27, 2009 06:15 PM / 1 comments

While Beyoncé takes her fair share of criticism from fans and legends alike, she's got at least one important lady in her corner—the First Lady, Michelle Obama.

In a cover story on Mrs. Jay-Z in Ebony magazine this month, Obama unleashes praise on the singer and how humbled she was by B's inaugural performance.

"Beyoncé is an incredible young woman. Barack and I have met her on a few occasions, and it was a great honor to hear her sing 'At Last' so beautifully at the inauguration," Obama said.

"She is so talented and so real, and we just love her."

So does Jay-Z, aside from the occasional mess his wife leaves around.

"I'm a little messy," Beyoncé tells the mag, "I think that is the most difficult thing for him. He's very, very organized."

REMEMBER THIS?

Beyonce on the Michelle vs Bey rumors...

"Huh?! I haven't heard that one...That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard," - Beyonce says that Michelle and Barack Obama actually asked her to sing at the Inaugural. " I saw [Michelle Obama] the day before and she said, 'You know you are performing tomorrow.' She told me that she was very happy that her children had an artist like myself and-I don't even feel right saying this--she said she was happy they had me to look up to."

Top Music Divas :-)

Top 10 Pop Music Divas

By Bill Lamb, About.com

The dictionary defines 'diva' as simply goddess. All of these women qualify as pop music goddesses. In the spirit of Ancient Greek and Roman goddesses, all of them could easily go by simply a single name, and we would know who they are. Some of them frequently do go by a single name. Without delay, here are the top 10 pop music divas of all time listed in alphabetical order.

1) Beyonce

Beyonce has moved well beyond simply being part of the group Destiny's Child and is a major music and movie star on her own. She has created the model for female superstar of the twenty-first century.

2) Mariah Carey

Mariah Carey dominated the pop music charts in the 1990's with 15 #1 hit pop singles. She seemed to hit a career bottom shortly after, but has returned with an amazing comeback.

3) Cher

Whether it's movies, tv, music, or even late night infomercials, Cher has been a star for 40 years. She spent years on a multi-year farewell tour and consequently has been seen live by more people than almost any other recording artist.

4) Celine Dion

Celine's golden voice has been ever-present for the last decade or so. Growing up as the youngest child in a family of 14, she figured out a way to stand out.

5) Whitney Houston

Whitney's voice is one of the most powerful and beautiful in the history of pop music. Unfortunately, her myriad personal issues have drawn nearly as much press.

6) Janet Jackson

Janet Jackson has come a long, long way from the status of being referred to as Michael Jackson's little sister. Now simply referred to as 'Janet,' like her older brother, she is no stranger to controversy.

7) Madonna

Madonna is simply one of the most successful pop music artists of all time. While courting controversy and starring in movie flops, her music has rarely suffered.

8) Diana Ross

Without Diana, there would be no Mariah or Beyonce. With her group the Supremes and later on her own, Diana Ross set a lofty standard for divas to come.

9) Barbra Streisand

Barbra began her career in the spotlight on the Broadway stage. She has since been a major movie star as well as pop star. Her performance in as Mrs. Focker in Meet the Fockers stole the show.

10) Donna Summer

When disco ruled, Donna was the undisputed queen. She continues to churn out dance hits and tour to adoring audiences.

Top 10 Most Annoying Pop Songs of 2008

By Bill Lamb, About.com

Commercially successful pop music is not always good pop music. Many of us know that intuitively, but it doesn't really sink in until there is a particular song we wish would go away. Here are 10 that I have chosen as the songs I think we've heard enough times already. Without further adieu...the 10 most annoying pop songs of 2008.

1. The Pussycat Dolls - "When I Grow Up"

Pussycat Dolls - When I Grow UpCourtesy Pussycat Dolls

"Be careful what you wish for 'cause you just might get it." Did we wish for this latest Pussycat Dolls opus? Yeah, it sticks in your head, sort of like that bubblegum to the bottom of your shoe. Lyrically, the song amounts to "When I grow up I don't wanna be a grown-up." The first album was great fun, but the Dolls are wearing out their welcome quickly. Bring back the wit of "Don't Cha" or let the group mercifully fade into the distance.

2. Christina Aguilera - "Keeps Gettin' Better"

Christina Aguilera - "Keeps Gettin' Better"Courtesy RCA

Watch this phenomenal Christina Aguilera performance at this year's Grammy concert and then listen to the single "Keeps Gettin' Better." She sounds tired, bored, and uninspired. It's a serious letdown for fans of one of the most talented voices and arguably most creative individuals in pop music today. It really isn't "gettin' better" here.

3. Britney Spears - "Womanizer"

Britney Spears - "Womanizer"Courtesy Jive Records

The video is Britney Spears in prime form, but the song? Yeah, we lost track of the number of times she says "womanizer," too. When your song makes listeners want to count your repetitive words, there really is something wrong. Fortunately, there is plenty of top notch music on Britney's Circus album to help you forget this annoying song.

4. Ray J. and Yung Berg - "Sexy Can I"

Ray J - All I FeelCourtesy Koch Records

Ray J. takes the prize for the most blatant attempt to draw attention with salacious sexual allusions this year. I suppose this can go over well at parties and with those who like to giggle at the most clumsy sexual content in a pop song. Oh, and there is Shaquille O'Neal in the video.

Watch Video

5. Lil Wayne featuring Static Major - "Lollipop"

Lil WayneCourtesy Cash Money Records

The tragedy of "Lollipop" is that 2008 was arguably THE year of Lil' Wayne and this became his biggest pop hit of the year. Fortunately, we had plenty of other opportunities to hear Lil' Wayne's true talents. This wasn't one of them.

6. Rihanna - "Rehab"

Rihanna - Good Girl Gone Bad© Def Jam

This is Rihanna on auto-pilot with Justin Timberlake along for the dull and annoying ride. The excuse for getting the year's most popular celebrity word into the mix is that your love is like a drug, so getting over you is like...you guessed it. Amy Winehouse is so annoyed right now.

7. Katy Perry - "I Kissed a Girl"

Katy Perry - I Kissed a GirlCourtesy Capitol Records

OK, this is a great song and a good performance. Revisit it a couple of years from now, and you are likely to smile and singalong. However, being over-played ad nauseam makes me never want to see cherry chapstick again. The controversy even seems boring and annoying now. Katy Perry truly hit her stride on the follow up "Hot 'n Cold."

8. New Kids on the Block - "Summertime"

New Kids on the Block - SummertimeCourtesy Interscope

Yep, this year the New Kids on the Block made their big return. However, this "Boys of Summer" for the permanently swoony 30 or 40-something boy band addict is not going to go down as one of their most memorable efforts. Ne-Yo did manage to perk up the guys who are no longer new or kids on the follow up "Single."

9. Savage featuring Soulja Boy Tell'Em - "Swing"

Savage featuring Soulja Boy Tell 'Em - "Swing"Courtesy Universal

"Swing" was boring on its own. It only took the addition of Souljah Boy doing his same shtick once again to make this song truly annoying. The best thing about "Swing," however, are the homemade dance videos it inspired. Check one out below.

10. Shwayze - "Corona and Lime"

Shwayze - "Corona and Lime"Courtesy Geffen

This laidback summer song introduced us to Shwayze. However, it gives little clue that there would be much to expect from him as an artist other than more bland, cliche-ridden pop-reggae. I do like my Corona and lime, but many more times through this annoying song, and I might swear off it for some time to come.

Top 10 Most Annoying Pop Songs of 2007

By Bill Lamb, About.com

Commercially successful pop music is not always good pop music. Many of us know that intuitively, but it doesn't really sink in until there is a particular song we wish would go away. Here are 10 that I have chosen as the songs I think we've heard enough times already. Without further adieu...the 10 most annoying pop songs of 2007:

1. Sean Kingston - Beautiful Girls

Sean Kingston - Sean Kingstoncourtesy Beluga Heights

I gave it the benefit of the doubt when it first hit the charts, but after awhile Sean Kingston's nasally vocals really begin to grate on the nerves. The melody is so catchy it's almost impossible to avoid singing along while simultaneously shouting "Enough already!" That's even without mentioning the blatant sexism in the lyrics.

2. Avril Lavigne - Girlfriend

Avril Lavigne - The Best Damn Thing© RCA Records

I don't know...maybe it's the overly juvenile sound of this slice of cheerleader rock, or perhaps it's the seemingly unneccessary and gratuitous use of offensive language in the album version, or maybe it's just realizing Avril Lavigne can do "so much better." She proves it elsewhere on the album The Best Damn Thing. Whatever it is, I've heard enough of "Girlfriend."

3. will.i.am - I Got It From My Mama

will.i.am - Songs About GirlsCourtesy Interscope Records

If you're an ugly girl, then your mama's ugly too. Yep, that's the gist of it here. Don't let this song keep you from listening to the rest of will.i.am's solo album Songs About Girls. It really is worthwhile listening. However, this song belongs squarely on the "My Humps" mixtape.

4. Mims - This Is Why I'm Hot

MIMS - Music Is My SaviorCourtesy Capitol Records

You know what? He's not hot anymore. The excitement over Mims has faded almost as quickly as it appeared. Holding my interest requires showing me why you're hot, not just telling me you're hot 'cause you fly. Aren't they basically the same thing?

5. Rihanna featuring Ne-Yo - Hate That I Love You

Rihanna - Good Girl Gone Bad© Def Jam

The song in which songwriter Ne-Yo thinks he's being clever but only succeeds in getting on our nerves. This is the only duet I'm aware of where both singers whine about how much they hate the fact that they're in love. Yeah, love stinks.

Watch Video

6. Justin Timberlake - Summer Love

Justin Timberlake - FutureSex / LoveSoundsCourtesy Jive Records

The release of this single was a shameless effort to capitalize on the grand tradition of summer pop songs. Undoubtedly one of the weakest tracks from the FutureSex / LoveSounds album. We couldn't wait to have "LoveStoned" replace it on the radio.

7. T-Pain featuring Yung Joc - Buy You a Drank (Shawty Snappin')

T-Pain - Epiphany© Jive Records

I've got money. I'm famous. I'll buy you a drink. You'll come home with me. Sigh... Well, "Buy You a Drank" is spiced up a bit by making reference to other hip-hop hits. Once or twice was enough times to hear this for me.

8. Hinder - Better Than Me

HinderCourtesy Universal

Hands down, Hinder take the prize this year for the most hackneyed and inane lyrics in a hit pop song. "I really miss your hair in my face / And the way your innocence tastes." Hmmm...not the first 2 things many of us might think of...but then we're not Hinder. It's a no-brainer that rock isn't as popular as it once was if this is what pop radio chooses to give major exposure.

9. Soulja Boy - Crank That (Soulja Boy)

Soulja Boy - Souljaboytellem.comCourtesy Collipark Music

Ah...the easiest hit song of the year to pick on. It really was rather fun the first several times through, and Soulja Boy can definitely dance. However, "Crank That" has seriously outworn its welcome, and I'm not sure Soulja Boy has anything else to hold our attention.

10. Mat Kearney - Nothing Left to Lose

It's earnest, it's emotional, and, yep, it's annoying. This is the downside to John Mayer. He pulls songs like this along in his wake.
