In the wake of a report in New York's Daily News that Rihanna is in talks to star in a remake of "The Bodyguard," (for which she would take the role made famous by Whitney Houston in the 1992 flick) — as well as possible roles in a forthcoming "Charlie's Angels" sequel and an unspecified film with Justin Timberlake — Rihanna's rep denied that the singer is in talks for any of the films.

Rihanna was in New York over the weekend and was photographed extensively while en route to reported business meetings. The Daily News report claimed that an "insider" said that Rihanna would take on Houston's role in a "young and sexy take" on "The Bodyguard." The site also reported that she is also considering working on a "Charlie's Angels" sequel, as well as possibly starring alongside Justin Timberlake, with whom she collaborated on her single "Rehab."

However, a rep for Rihanna denied the movie reports to MTV News on Monday (March 16).

In other misleading Rihanna news, a CNN report from last week that claimed Rihanna and Chris Brown had recorded a new duet after their alleged altercation on February 8 was debunked by a rep for producer Polow Da Don on Friday. The track in question was actually a demo of the song "Bad Girl" that the pair recorded with Polow last summer, and which the producer talked with MTV News about after it leaked onto the Internet in January. The song was ultimately recorded by the Pussycat Dolls for the recently released "Confessions of a Shopaholic" soundtrack.

Ummmm... I see that US winter sun has the same effect of darkening her very very light almost white skin much like the Barbados sun...
