Beyonce is a faaaaantastic performer there's no doubt about that!! I think the problem with Rihanna is her vocals are not strong, (which I must admit they have improved quite a bit since she first came out)- but for someone with vocals that are mediocre there is still a place in the music industry IF they are fantastic performers and have a face.
ReplyDeleteBritney spears was a person who did not have great vocals but this girl could PERFORM, she was DYNAMITE on stage, you just couldn't take your eyes off her, and she was not bad to look at either.
Rihanna is no Britney spears and it makes her performances droney and boring no matter how great the song might sound when recorded and filters etc are added in on cd, she won't get people going back to see her perform over and over again.
I think Rihanna is the wrong race too lol, most black women in the industry tear it up vocally, the only people that care about Rihanna is her country and white teeny boppers she doesn't have a meaningful audience and I don't think she will last much longer, I think we're at the tip of her "hype".
