As most of you know, Beyonce Knowles spent the weekend in Miami, Florida where was the guest of honor at a Miami Children’s hospital fundraiser and concert.
I used to work at Miami Children’s hospital back in the day and I still have a friend who work there.
She called me last night to tell me she attended Beyonce’s private concert at the American Airlines Arena. She said she was one of the volunteers backstage helping to make sure Bey had everything she needed.
I was shocked to hear what she said next. She told me that event organizers pleaded with Beyonce not to wear that fake wedding ring she’s been flaunting in our faces lately.
Of course we here at SR.com already know that the supposed $5M wedding ring is fake. For one thing, jewelers usually step up to claim their custom work especially when its for a celebrity because it’s good for business.
For instance, we know that Jacob the Jeweler designed Mariah Carey’s ring. But so far not one jeweler has been identified as the designer of Beyonce’s wedding ring.

In addition, not one credible source has confirmed the price of the ring. I guess we’re just supposed to believe whatever dollar figure is thrown out there? Not to mention that not one woman with even half a brain would wear a 5 MILLION dollar ring while taking a dip in the ocean or a swimming pool!
But tell that to the rabid Bey Stans who believe everything they hear about their idol.
Anyway, my friend said Bey desperately wanted to wear her gaudy wedding ring onstage because she promised her husband Jay Z that she would never remove it.
But event organizers gently impressed upon her how TACKY it would look to wear such a gaudy ring to a fundraiser!! The idea is to RAISE money for the hospital, not to flaunt money in the children’s faces!
Unreal!
My friend said Bey finally relented and removed the ring which she replaced with more costume jewelry.
Remember kids, when it comes to celebrities, believe half of what you hear and none of what you see!

Jay-Z sure knows how to pick the bling!
All eyes were on Beyoncé Friday night, when, for the first time, the singer publicly displayed her wedding ring on the red carpet for
Fashion Rocks at Radio City Music Hall in N.Y.C.
The singer, 27, who
secretly married rapper Jay-Z in April, flashed an 18 carat flawless diamond by Lorraine Schwartz, valued at more than $5 million dollars, according to the jeweler.
Neither Beyoncé nor Jay-Z have
publicly confirmed their marriage but in recent weeks, Beyoncé’s younger sister Solange referred to Jay-Z as her brother-in-law during a television interview.
Later in the evening, Beyoncé took off the ring for a duet with
Justin Timberlake, but the sparkler was visible when she donned a short, blonde wig to sing a tribute to blues singer Etta James whom she portrays in an upcoming movie.

Is Beyonce the queen of diamonds? Giorgio Armani certainly seems to think so. Dazzled by her stage performance last year, the designer personally requested the singer to be the face of his new fragrance Emporio Diamonds. “I absolutely love everything about it,” she tells PEOPLE of the scent. “There hasn’t been one day that I haven’t gotten compliments on the fragrance. I wear it when I perform, when I’m going out and when I meet my fans. Even my guys that help me backstage are like,’ I need to get that for my wife!’ It’s really intoxicating.” And definitely not the only diamonds this diva is in love with. “My favorite diamonds right now are my Lorraine Schwartz monkeys. She has this new line of monkeys–Hear no evil, See no evil, Speak no evil. It makes me try to think and see things positively.” What a gem! Emporio Diamonds is available at Macy’s stores in September.

How She Fights Beyonceitis: There's an old saying. If you can't beat them. LIE! She posted flat-out lies claiming, among other things that Beyonce was actually 32 not 25, and insinuating that Beyonce uses a ghost-singer on stage and on records. She recently crossed the line between funny and foul when she made a post claiming Beyonce's nephew suffered from autism.
Strengths: She has her own website so she an audience. She knows Monica and she knows Tiny (mother to 1 of T.I.'s 84 children) so during the weeks when they are actually together, she gets some T.I. exclusives. That's about it.
Weaknesses: No one can co-sign her exclusives except for her "sources" Her "sources claimed that Beyonce uses someone else to sing for her but her sources didn't tell her that posting about Beyonce 20 times a day is kind of transparent, and even her most devoted readers got kind of sick of her Beyonce posts. She has since fallen back on the Beyonce posts a bit. She did however post a link to this site thinking it was anti-Beyonce, but once she realized that it wasn't she quickly took it down, which pretty much proves everything we already said. She really doesn't even try to hide her obsession with Beyonce.
Whatchu Think She Mad at Bee Fo? Sandra claimed that she has no problem with Beyonce personally but she does not like what Beyonce represents. However she praises Kim Porter, Tiny, and had no problem featuring an interview with Diamond from Crime Mob after her assault arrest.
***NOTE TO BEYONCE: Please be more like those women, because when I think of great female role models I don't think of Harriet Tubman, Angela Davis, or even Oprah, I think Diamond from Crime Mob.***

How They Fights Beyonceitis: Lying of course. They spoke with a source that claimed that B-Day was being pushed back (it was actually moved up a week) and that it received terrible reviews ("B-Day" actually scored a favorable 70 at Metacritic.com) Published a photoshopped passport of Beyonce with a false birthdate which made her about 7 years older than what she claims to be.
Strengths: Although they totally lack credibility, their entertaining posts attracts an audience. Some of it is actually funny. Also claimed to upset Matthew enough for him to send them an angry letter. (Two snaps for that!)
Weaknesses: Mostly exaggerated stories
Whatchu Think She Mad at Bee Fo? They're not really mad at Beyonce, but posting lies about her appeases her haters and irritates her fans. Either way it attracts a large amount of people to their site so it's a win-win for them.

Background: Had a minor R&B hit in the mid-90's "Where I Wanna Be", peaked at #79 on the Hot 100 and #21 on the R&B Charts. Tried and failed to have a music career, let herself go severely, found her way on the radio.
How She Fights Beyonceitis: Rarely passed up an opportunity to bash Beyonce. Had an infamous run-in with Beyonce and Beyonce's mother Tina, in which she said Tina looked like the Joker with all the make-up on her face (STOP LAUGHING). Also did a spoof of "Upgrade U" called "Upstage U" about Jennifer Hudson's perceived upstaging of Beyonce in Dreamgirls. Although it was funny, it would have been funnier if she had released the song while Dreamgirls was still in theaters.
Strengths: Has a radio show in New York so she has a big audience. People tune in to see what she'll say next. Known for her sharp-tongue and take-no-mess attitude. She hung up on Christina Milian so I guess that makes her a bad-ass or something...?
Weaknesses: Donuts? I don't know...
Whatchu Think She Mad at Bee Fo? Since her dreams of being a music superstar withered up like a raisin in the sun, she will probably always be accused of being resentful that Beyonce is the hottest chick in the game.
